How to get a Fennec in Rocket League

Unlock this fan favorite car.

In Rocket League, all the pros use just two cars: the Octane and the Fennec. The Octane is a free car available to every player, but the Fennec can be trickier to acquire. However, it’s a must-have car for every Rocket League player, as the Fennec’s shape makes its hitbox easier to recognize. This guide will walk you through how to get the Fennec in Rocket League.

Originally the Fennec was only obtainable through the Totally Awesome Crates back in July of 2019. However, crates are no longer present in the game. This leaves only three ways to get your hands on a Fennec.

Crafting

After every Rocket League match, you have a chance to receive a random Blueprint, and if you’re lucky enough, you will get a Fennec Blueprint. You can then use Credits to craft the Fennec via the Blueprint. This is the cheapest method on this list, but you’ll have to get lucky.

Trading

This is by far the most common way to get a Fennec in Rocket League. The Rocket League trading system is easy to use and has very few restrictions. You can trade with a friend that has a Fennec they are looking to get rid of, or you can find traders on a third-party trading site. You will find that the unpainted Fennec can be picked up at a low price, but more sought after colors, such as the rare Titanium White Fennec, sell for much more.

The Item Shop

On occasion, the Fennec will show up in the Item Shop for purchase. But on what days it shows up in the shop is completely random. Or at least it seems to be, as Psyonix hasn’t commented on how they decide what makes it into the shop. But don’t hold your breath, because the last time the Titanium White Fennec was in the shop was over a year ago.
