Parasols are a fun way to stay dry from the rain in Final Fantasy XIV. Styled after the Gold Saucer casino, the Gold Parasaucer lets players show off their hard-earned accessory. Triple Triad enthusiasts have the chance to work toward getting this parasol for themselves. You’ll have to play the card game to get it. Specifically, you’ll need to earn an achievement reward from Triple Triad.

Win 150 Open tournament Triple Triad matches

To get this parasol, you must earn the achievement, “Open to Victory III.” You have to win 150 Open tournament Triple Triad matches against other players in the Gold Saucer. To participate in these matches, speak with the Open Tournament Official in the Gold Saucer (X: 4.5 Y: 7.4). The matches are only available during set times. Confirm the available time periods by speaking with the NPC.

The Gold Parasaucer is untradable and unsellable, so you won’t be able to get the accessory by any other means. After earning your achievement, speak with Jonathas in Old Gridania (X: 10, Y: 6). He’ll give you your parasol item. After using the item, open up your Fashion Accessory menu and equip the Gold Parasaucer.
