How to complete Parasol Peril in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

A spoonful of sugar helps the shaman go up.

Revendreth is not typically associated with sunshine and rainbows in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, but the Parasol Peril quest might make you wonder if the Venthyr secretly enjoy musical theater. You’ll be flying across the sky on a path of anima bubbles, but if you need a shortcut to get there, we can help.

Take a flight to the Darkhaven path, which will place you just a bit southeast of the quest marker on your map. Directly to your west, you’ll see a Dreadbat statue. This one isn’t just for decoration, as you can speak to it. The statue will ask for five Infused Rubies, and in exchange, it will take you to the starting point for your journey through the flight bubbles. If you need to find some rubies, we have a guide to show you where to find them.

Once you reach the starting point, interact with the parasol, and you’ll receive a new action icon in the middle of your screen. You need to launch yourself into the air with this new action and land on the platform highlighted in your minimap, a bit to the northeast. Don’t worry about speeding over to the finish line, as you need to make a safe landing, and you’ll have plenty of time to get there. Use the parasol (not your body) to hit the anima bubbles along the way, giving yourself an elevation boost each time your fun new accessory passes through them. You’ll know you’re close when you see “TINY ONE ALMOST ERE!” in a dialogue box.

When you land in one piece on the platform, you will get credit for completing the quest. If you fall at any point, don’t worry, as a gargoyle will pick you up and teleport you back to the starting line with a new parasol ready to go. Completing this world quest ten times will get you the Parasoling achievement.
