How to unlock the Famished Feline achievement in The Medium

There are plenty of secret achievements to unlock in The Medium, and players can attain one of those in the game’s opening area. It is called the Famished Feline achievement, and as the title suggests, it requires you to feed a starving cat.

After you gain control of Marianne for the first time, you are tasked with looking for Jack’s tie clip. Leave the room you start in by heading out of the white double doors. A black cat will startle Marianne as she runs into the hallway. Instead of looking for the tie clip, head straight across until the camera angle changes. You will see two doorways on your right. Head into the first one to enter the kitchen.

As you enter, immediately look down to your right to interact with the cat’s food bowl. Exit that screen and walk over to the kitchen counter. Grab the catfood tin that you can interact with from the counter. Walk back to the bowl, interact with it, and pour some food into the bowl. The cat will wander over and start eating. This unlocks the Famished Feline achievement, which says that you have successfully fed the cat in Jack’s apartment. It is worth 20 gamerscore, and it will set you on your way to attaining 100% completion in The Medium.
