There is no shortage of challenges to complete in the world of Genshin Impact. Each region in Teyvat has a large number of time trials for players to complete. They are well worth the effort but can be difficult to locate due to being hidden throughout the map. Here are all the locations of the Timed Trials in Genshin Impact so players can spend more time completing them instead of wasting time trying to find them.
All Genshin Impact Time Trial Locations
Here are all of the Time Trials throughout Teyvat. They are sorted by major regions found within Genshin Impact.
- Mondstadt: 17 Trials

- Liyue: 47 Trials
- The Chasm: 20 Trials
- Inazuma: 80 Trials

Mondstadt Time Trials
Completing 5/10/15 trials in Mondstadt will give players different levels of the Wind-Chasing Adventurer achievement.
Dragonspine Time Trial
The Dragonspine is the freezing mountainous region just South of Mondstadt. The Time Trials can be a bit tricky here due to the harsh climate. There are no achievements for completing them but they do have decent rewards. One of these timed trials is linked to the In The Mountains quest.
Liyue Time Trial Locations
Liyue is a huge area filled with Time Trials. The region is divided into Northern Liyue and Southern Liyue. Completing 10/20/40 trials will give players different versions of the Rock-Steady Adventurer achievement.
The Chasm Time Trials
There are two layers to the Chasm, the surface and the Underground Mines. These trials hidden within are some of the more challenging ones players will face.
Inazuma Time Trials
Inazuma is broken up into six islands, each with its own Time Trials. Completing 6/12/24 of the Narukami Island, Kannazuka Island, and Yashiori Islands will give players different versions of the Lightning-Riding Adventurer achievement. Completing 6/12/24 of the Watasumi Island and Seirai Island time trials will give players the Lightning-Riding Adventurer II achievement.
Narukimi Island Time Trial
Kannazuka and Yashiori Islands Time Trial
Watasumi Island Time Trial
Seirai Island Time Trial
Tsurumi Island Time Trial
Enkanomiya Time Trial
This area is much like the Chasm and Dragonspine as it is a part of a specific region, in this case, Inazuma, but is a complicated beast on its own, so it becomes its own special sub-region. Also like the other special regions, the challenges here are hard.
Sumeru Time Trials
Sumeru has the most Time Trials out of all the regions in Genshin Impact as the region is sectioned into four parts. The greener areas such as the Avidya Forest, Lokapala Jungle, Ardravi Valley, Lost Nursery, Vanarana, Ashavan Realm, and Vissudha Field. Desert areas of The Land of Upper Setekh, The Land of Lower Setekh, and the Hypostyle Desert. Girdle of the Sands is the third section. The Desert of Hadramaveth is the final section.
- Completing 10/20/40 of the trials in the greener areas will give players the Adventurer of the Shimmering Woods achievement.
- Completing 10/20/40 trials in the desert areas will give players the Quicksand Adventurer I achievement.
- Completing 7/14/28 trials in the Desert of Hadramaveth will give players the Quicksand Adventurer II achievement.
- Completing 4/8/16 trials of the Girdle of the Sands will give players the Badlands Adventurer achievement.
Fontaine Time Trials
The latest region added to Genshin Impact is Fontaine. This region has Time Trials both above and below the water. Completing 3/6/12 trials will give players different versions of the Waveriding Adventurer achievement which is part of the Fontaine: Dance of the Dew-White Springs Achievement Series.
