The Battle Pass in Genshin Impact allows players to get tons of level-up materials, Mora, and exclusive currency in the game. This feature is available to all players in the game — even free-to-play players, as there are tons of free rewards to earn from the Battle Pass. A new leak indicates that the Battle Pass may receive some significant changes.
A tweet from Project Celestia, a datamining group and website for Genshin Impact, tweeted out potential changes coming to the Genshin Impact Battle Pass in Version 2.7. Currently, players working on the Battle Pass need to earn 1,000 EXP a week, for a total of 5,000 EXP. This allows you to max out the Battle Pass and earn all the rewards. Now, it appears players will only need to earn 600 EXP a week. Furthermore, the amount of EXP players receive is not changing.
This information supposedly comes from Genshin Impact’s Version 2.7 beta test. It’s unknown why this change is being implemented, as the leak indicates that the Battle Pass is otherwise staying the same — only much easier to complete.
It’s important to note that this information comes from a beta test and is liable to change at any moment. Take these leaks with a grain of salt.
