Mech Hunter is quickly emerging as a deck to watch when Hearthstone‘s next expansion hits.

After having niche appeal in the Goblins vs Gnomes meta, new Mech Hunter support being printed in The Boomsday Project makes it look like a deck worth trying.

Fireworks Tech is a two mana 2/1 Hunter minion. It gives a friendly Mech +1/+1 as a Battlecry, and triggers any Deathrattle that Mech has.

This has synergy with two of the other Hunter cards printed. With Spider Bomb it obviously triggers the destruction of a random enemy minion without Spider Bomb having to die. It could also trigger a random Mech to be added to the hand if played on a card with Cybertech Chip attached to it.

There are three neutral Mechs with Deathrattles being added too. Deathrattle Hunter is already popular and has a ton of support, so this looks promising.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
