Mech decks were a big thing after Goblins vs Gnomes, with Mech Mage particularly powerful. Time will tell if Mech decks can be as strong in 2018.

Galvanizer is a two mana 1/2 neutral Mech minion. When it’s played, it will reduce the cost of Mechs in your hand by one mana.

Make no mistake: if a Mech deck makes it into the meta, right now this look likes the lynchpin of it. The Mechs revealed so far didn’t look insanely expensive, but this will make them great value cards. With the new Magnetic mechanic, this will make building big Mechs even cheaper too.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
