Throughout the past few months in Destiny 2, leading up to the big Forsaken expansion next month, Bungie has altered a number of Exotic weapons and armors to make them “feel more exotic.”
One of the armors to get a recent change is now up for sale by Xur, Agent of the Nine, who is visiting for his first of three final trips before the DLC launches on Sept. 4.
Where is Xur?
Xur is on Io, in his normal spot inside of a cave in the Giant’s Scar section of the map, to the west.
This week’s weapon is Sunshot, one of the game’s flagship Exotics. This hand cannon has explosive rounds, and shooting enemies will highlight them. But its best perk makes targets killed by it explode in Solar energy. It costs 29 Legendary Shards.
This week’s Warlock armor is Karnstein Armlets, which recently got a really nice buff. This armor now instantly restores a large amount of health upon melee kills, and it will continue to restore health afterwards for a short duration. They cost 23 Legendary Shards.
For Titans, Xur has Lion Rampant. These boots provide additional aerial maneuverability and enable accurate hipfire while in the air. They also cost 23 Legendary Shards.
Finally, for Hunters, Xur has brought Orpheus Rig. These boots are incredible in PvE since they provide ability energy for each enemy tethered by Shadowshot anchors, meaning you can chain supers when using it on a large group of enemies. The boots are on sale for 23 Legendary Shards.
