Disney Dreamlight Valley has launched on multiple platforms during its early access period. When juggling multiple platforms, inquiries like “Can I team up with my buddy playing on a different console?” and “Are my saves transferable between consoles?” start to pop up.
In the past year, I’ve had my fair share of trips to Scrooge McDuck’s store to buy furniture and outfits. It’d be a shame knowing I can’t load my usual save on a different platform. Or worse, I won’t be able to show off my cute Valley to my friends just because they play on different consoles. There are a lot of supplies, accessories, and currencies you can accumulate throughout your playtime in Dreamlight Valley, but are all your supplies shared on all platforms? Does the game have crossplay or cross-progression functionality?

Does Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Multiplayer Have Crossplay?
There is no confirmation on whether Dreamlight Valley’s multiplayer mode supports crossplay. This means we don’t know if your Nintendo Switch friends can join your PC Valley, and so on. The developers have confirmed to play Disney Dreamlight Valley Multiplayer, you’ll need an Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, or Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Does Disney Dreamlight Valley Have Cross-Progression?
Disney Dreamlight Valley supports cross-progression on all platforms, excluding PlayStation and the Apple Arcade Edition. So far, it works on the Switch, PC, and Xbox.
To get this cross-save feature up and running in Dreamlight Valley, follow these steps:
- Make a Gameloft Cloud Save Account from the in-game Title Screen. All you need is an email address and a password.
- Then, a confirmation code will be sent to your email.
- Once you’ve made a Gameloft account, head to the main menu of Dreamlight Valley and select Cloud Save.
- You must enter the confirmation code when the game asks for it. All your up-to-date saved data will be accessible on all platforms you log in to.
When you enable cross-save, any materials or progress you made on one platform will be saved on another. For example, the farm you spent hours on in the Switch version of the game will be in your other version of the game on the Xbox or PC. Cross-save will also allow you to keep items you purchased with real-world money at the in-game store.
