Activision and Treyarch revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer and zombie mode in the form of a new trailer.
It’s that time of year again where a lot of gamers get excited for one of the longest running first person shooters.
Activision and Treyarch are back this year with a brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer reveal trailer. The trailer is polished up with non-stop action showcasing different class abilities. The biggest one I noticed, of course, was the guy carrying a big riot shield and a pop up barricade for extra cover. The trailer also showed some underwater gun fights, which look interesting.
Another multiplayer mode is making its debut in this new Call of Duty called Blackout. Blackout is the new Battle Royale mode which will have the most refined mechanics in the world, according to Activision. Blackout will have your favorite characters, weapons, maps, land, sea, and air vehicles.
Lastly, Call of Duty: Zombies are back and this time you have three different zombie experiences to play through. IX, Voyage of Despair, and a continuation of Blood of the Dead are all available the first day of release. That’s a lot of zombies to deal with in just one game.
It looks like forgoing a single player campaign mode in favor of more zombies and a brand new Battle Royale is the choice Activision and Treyarch are going with. You can get in on the fun early if you pre-order the game to get signed up for the private beta. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases on October 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
