We’ve known for a while now that Platinum Games’ Astral Chain will launch on Nintendo Switch August 30, but today Nintendo shared even more details about the game’s release. When Astral Chain launches, it will receive a Collector’s Edition in Europe as well as Japan.

Originally, Astral Chain was only expected to get a Collector’s Edition in Japan, though details about what it might contain were scarce. The announcement of a European Collector’s Edition also came with a description of what this special version will contain. No plans for a Collector’s Edition for the North American version of the game have been announced yet.

The Collector’s Edition of Astral Chain isn’t the most fully featured collector’s edition we’ve ever seen, but it does come with some nice extras. The biggest bonus is a 152-page art book. The art in Astral Chain already looks pretty stunning, and it looks like the game will be packed with strange creatures and futuristic technology, so there are plenty of cool designs to show off in the art book. You’ll also get a limited edition illustration from Masakazu Katsura, the game’s character designer.

Other than that, there’s not much to this Collector’s Edition. You’ll also get a soundtrack CD and a nice looking Collector’s Edition box along with the standard game case.

No price has been announced for the Astral Chain Collector’s Edition yet. Given how little it actually includes, we’re hoping it’s not too much more than the Standard Edition.

Astral Chain got a new gameplay and story trailer at Nintendo’s E3 press conference today, followed by an extended gameplay demo in the Treehouse stream.
