Starting from Sept. 1, at 1 PM PDT, a special kind of Eevee becomes available as a Research Breakthrough encounter. These special Eevee are wearing flower crowns; flower-crowned Eevee have been available in previous events and special occasions in Pokémon Go. Players also can encounter a shiny Eevee with a flower crown in Pokémon Go during these new Research Breakthroughs.
These flower-crowned Eevee encounters are exclusive to the Research Breakthroughs. To encounter these Eevee, you need to accomplish a certain amount of tasks for the Research Breakthrough. These flower-crowned Eevee will stop being available on Nov. 1, at 1 PM PDT.
Eevee is a unique Pokémon that it is capable of evolving into a variety of different Pokémon, all of which are a diverse type. Eevee has eight evolutions in total, though currently, Pokémon Go has all but one Eevee evolution (Sylveon is the only evolution not in the game yet). With that said, you can evolve your special flower-crowned Eevee into any of the available Eevee Evolutions that are currently in Pokemon Go. These evolved forms of Eevee will keep the flower crown on their head.
