A new cryptic tweet suggests that the Swords of Justice are coming to Pokémon Go.

One of the most popular mobile games in the world, Pokémon Go allows fans all over the globe to capture Pokémon in real life on their mobile devices. With over 800 Pokémon in existence, the game only launched with the initially 151 from Pokémon Red and Blue.

Over the next few years, the game has been releasing Pokémon from the later games, working from Generation I (which are Red and Blue) to Generation V (which was Pokémon Black and White). There are still three more generations of Pokémon to go through, and not all of Gen. V is made available to capture in the game.

Today on the official Pokémon Go Twitter account seems to imply that a set of Legendary Pokémon from Gen. V, labeled as the Swords of Justice in the games, may be coming to Go very soon. The account tweeted out an image of swords and a scale. The scale most likely symbolizes justice, which means that the tweet may mean swords of justice.

The Swords of Justice are four quadrupeds Pokémon that travel the Unova region to bring justice to everything. They are based on the Three Musketeers, with the main three Swords of Justice being based on the Three Musketeers, while Keldeo is based on d’Artagnan (the book’s protagonist). The names of the main three Swords of Justice are Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, and they are based on the Musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, respectively.

Cobalion, similar to Athos’ role in the novel, is the leader of the Swords of Justice and is a steel/fighting-type. Terrakion is a rock/fighting-type, and Virizion is a grass/fighting-type. Keldeo, who is a Mythical Pokémon from Gen. V, is a water/fighting-type. It’s currently unknown if the tweet is suggesting that all four Swords of Justice are coming to Pokémon Go, or only the main three, excluding Keldeo.

UPDATE

Pokémon Go officially reveals that Cobalion is coming to 5-star raids. Cobalion will be available in raids from Monday, November 4, 2019, at 1 p.m. to Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at 1 p.m. pacific time.
