Where to get the Coward’s Cloak in Temtem

Coward’s Cloak is a very interesting item in Temtem. It is a unique item that you can give to a Temtem that will allow it to earn experience as if it is in battle, even though it is not used in a fight. The item is handy for quickly leveling up Temtem that you catch, but are not high enough level. You can even use it to level all the Temtem you found at the start of the game but were not able to level up. 

To get the Coward’s Cloak, you will need to head to the Windward Fort, and you will also need a Surfboard. You will find the Windward Fort near the Gifted Bridges as you play through the game’s first quest, and it is impossible to miss. It is the place where you find Sophia in a cage and fight against Lady Lottie. Remember, you will not be able to get the Coward’s Cloak until you have challenged Sophia back at her Dojo after releasing her from the cage, and she will give you one as a prize for beating her in a Temtem battle. 

When you have your Surfboard, head back to the cage, then jump in the water with the Surfboard. Head out the door on the left to a part of the Sillaro River, then follow the spiral route towards the center. There will be NPCs that you need to fight, and once you get past them all, you will arrive as a small central island where you can find the Coward’s Cloak and some chests. 

The Coward’s Cloak is a handy item, so be sure to grab it as soon as you can so you can level your Temtem quicker.
