Borderlands 3 Loot the Universe timetable

Lots of loot.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Borderlands 3 is getting busy over the next few weeks. On top of the Revenge of the Cartels event, and changes to Mayhem mode, we also get the Loot the Universe mini-event. Loot the Universe is a four-week long tour of the game’s many locations.

Each week, a new planet will become a hotspot where different types of Legendary items will have an increased chance to drop in one of the planet’s zones. Each affected zone will have its own Legendary type, and can also drop extra Legendary Gear.

This means you will find different loot types in the different regions, so if you don’t want to chase down a Legendary Assault Rifle, but those are dropping in your zone, you can simply move to a new zone.

Weapon Types

  • Pistol
  • Shotgun
  • SMG
  • Assault Rifle
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Heavy

Gear Types

  • Class Mods
  • Artifacts
  • Shields
  • Grenade Mods

The timetable for the planets is as follows:

  • Week 1 (9 AM PT April 23 to 8:59 AM PT April 30) – Pandora
  • Week 2 (9 AM PT April 30 to 8:59 AM PT May 7) – Promethea
  • Week 3 (9 AM PT May 7 to 8:59 AM PT May 14) – Eden-6
  • Week 4 (9 AM PT May 14 to 8:59 AM PT May 21) – Nekrotafeyo

There will be no indication about what types will drop in what zones, so you will need to do some exploring and experimenting, finding good loot farms, and seeing what you get. The loot buffs will also stack with the new Mayhem mode reworks, so if you are really looking for a lot of new loot, crank that Mayhem dial all the way up.
