Epic has invited us all to watch a movie in Fortnite, which is kind of them. The company will show one of three Christopher Nolan movies in the game’s Party Royale mode on Friday, June 26. Which movie you can watch will depend on where in the world you are, due to licensing rights, and unfortunately, some countries won’t be able to take part in the event at all.Â
How do I watch the movie?
Load into Party Royale and head to the Main Stage area at the designated time.
What movies will be shown?
Three different movies will be shown, either Inception, The Prestige, or Batman Begins. You can use this page to figure out what will be showing in your region. Just go to the bottom of the page and select your country from the drop-down list.
When is the Movie Nite event?
The start time of the Movie Nite event will depend on where you live. Once again, this is the page you need to figure out when you will be able to watch the movie.
What if nothing is listed for my country?
This means that Epic was unable to secure broadcast rights for any of the three movies in your region, and you will not be able to take part in the event. It sucks, but such is the nature of licensing.
I’m confused, can I have some examples?
That is understandable, Fortnite events normally just start at a certain time without all this messing around. If you live in America, for example, you will be able to watch Inception on Friday, June 26, at 1:00pm GM+1. Players in Canada will instead be able to watch The Prestige on the same day at 5:00pm GMT+1.
