There is a lot to do in Borderlands 3. If you are in a rush to hit that max Level so you can start working on your Guardian Rank, it can be challenging to figure out where you should spend your time. In this guide, we will give you some tips to maximize your experience, and hit Level 50 as quickly as possible.

How To Level Up Fast In Borderlands 3

The first thing to do is to focus on the story. The campaign missions give you plenty of experience, but side missions don’t tend to reward that much. As such, you are better off to instantly jump to the next campaign mission as soon as you hit the appropriate level. Don’t spend too much time getting bogged down in side missions, and use them to get you to the right level to play the next story mission. You can come back and round them up later when you are stronger and can blow through them.

If you are fortunate, you will get your hands on an Artifact that gives you an experience booster. These are fantastic if you are trying to level up fast because they provide you with experience boosts from everything you do. As long as you are working to Level 50, you should always have an Artifact with this booster equipped.

You can also play with a friend who is a higher level, and this will juke the experience system a little because you will be earning a lot more experience from fighting higher level enemies than you would on your own. Even if you can’t play with a high-level friend, you should still play with others if you can. If you play on Competitive, you can ensure that everyone is getting the best items for their builds, will get through story missions that bit faster, and will also have more enemies to kill getting you more experience.

Speaking of enemies, you want to murder absolutely everything you see and get through the missions as fast as possible. This strategy means building for damage and movement speed because the less time it takes to walk between mission areas, the better.

Getting through the story and into the endgame faster also helps you level up quickly. Completing the game opens up endgame activities such as Mayhem Mode, which allows you to up the difficulty meaning more experience. It will also open up the Proving Grounds and Circle of Slaughter activities, and you can grind these for experience as well.

The last piece of advice I can give you is to try and find collectibles. These will provide you with a gentle bump of experience each time you find one, which helps you hit that max level even faster.
