There are lots of Mounts (Horses) in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. You get a few of them from Blacksmith, and some can be bought separately. In this Assassin’s Creed Mounts guide, we have listed All Mounts, Where To Find Them (i.e. their exact locations), and How You Can Unlock Them.
Traveling can be tiring in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey if you are not having a good horse. There are some really cool looking horses in the game that you can find by following tips mentioned in this guide. The mounts can be called anywhere you can use them to cover a long distance, to escape enemies and wild animals. Among all the horses Pegasus is considered as the best one because of fall damage. If you are on a mountain or a cliff you can just jump down.
All Horses Locations & How To Unlock Them
Below are the list of mounts with screenshots you will see in the game, most of them will be available in the game, only some are part of campaign and store.
Phobos White
This is the default mount you get as you start playing the game. The white one which is available at the very beginning of the game.
Phobos Brown
Similar to the above one you can very early in the game when you get a chance to pick a horse.
Phobos Black
Similar to the above one you can very early in the game when you get a chance to pick a horse.
Egyptian Horse
You can buy this mount from a Blacksmith.
Pale Horse
You can buy this mount from a Blacksmith.
Traveler’s Horse
You can buy this mount from a Blacksmith.
Brown Horse
You can buy this mount from a Blacksmith.
Racing Horse
You can buy this mount from a Blacksmith.
Mycenaean Steed
You can find this skin in Ubisoft club. Go in the club section of the game where you will find the skin.
Fangs
You can buy this mount from a Blacksmith.
Hourglass
You can get this mount if you own Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Deluxe Edition or you can buy it from the store or there is a chance if you are lucky enough you can get it from Olympian Gift.
Abraxas
Abraxas is the horse on fire comes for Assassin’s Creed Origins. It is one of the most ruthless looking mounts in the game. You will need to reach Mercenary Tier 1 to get this one. Once you are around Level 48, you will have to kill a Mercenary with the title The Legend in the end which can be probably a Level 50 enemy. After killing this one you get the mount. He will also drop Typhon’s Mace.
Unicorn
You can purchase Epic Phobos Skin for 6400 Drachmae from the Blacksmith. There is no specific place where you will find a Blacksmith selling this skin, you have to check each and every one in the region also visit the older ones. It will appear randomly.
Black Unicorn
Similar to the above one you can buy this horse from the store or you can get it through Olympian Gift.
Pegasus
Pegasus skin can be found in an Olympian Gift. You have to visit Oikos of Olympians in Pilgrims Landing in Phokis. You will need to find a merchant in the region who is selling Olympian Gift. You might be able to get the skin in the gift but there no absurdity that you will get in one purchase. You might have to try this multiple time to get this epic mount. You can purchase the gifts by playing daily or weekly quest. The horse can jump from heights without facing fall damage.
Spartan Renegade
You can find this mount similar to Pegasus mount by looking in the Olympian Gifts. There are chances you can also purchase it from the store but try the Oikos of Olympians merchant.
Aegean Atoll
This mount is a part of Twitch Prime offers, you can earn a free Assassins Creed Odyssey Pirate Pack where you will get this skin. Amazon Prime members can get this pack for free in which you get this cook looking mount skin with spikes on head. Almost all horses are having the same speed, the only benefit is as mentioned in the first paragraph on top of this article is Pegasus which offer no fall damage if you jump from height mounting the horse.
