All version exclusives in Pokemon Sword and Shield The Isle of Armor DLC

With 105 new Pokémon, not many are exclusive.

All Pokémon games have version exclusives. It’s a constant attempt to make their players socialize and interact with each other. The new Sword and Shield DLC, the Isle of Armor, added 105 Pokémon from previous generations to the new game. Some of these are exclusive to the different versions. There are only four version exclusive Pokémon in the Isle of Armor DLC.

Sword exclusive Pokémon

  • Clawncher
  • Clawitzer

Clawncher is the Howtizer Pokémon introduced in Generation Six. It evolves at level 37 into Clawitzer. Both are Water type Pokémon with high Special Attack. 

The Water type Clawncher can be found in the Isle of Armor in the Workout Sea, Insular Sea, Stepping-Stone Sea, and Honeycalm Sea. They can also be found at Honeycalm Island. Clawncher and Clawitzer can also be found in Max Raid battles in dens in Workout Sea, Insular Sea, Stepping-Stone Sea, and Honeycalm Sea.

Shield exclusive Pokémon

  • Skrelp
  • Dragalge 

Skrelp is the Mock Kelp Pokémon introduced in Generation Six. It evolves into Dragalge at level 48. Skrelp is a Poison and Water type. Upon evolution, it loses the secondary Water type and gains Dragon in its place. 

Both Skrelp and Dragalge can be found in the wild in Pokémon Shield. The odds of finding Skrelp are higher. The Pokémon can be found at Workout Sea, Stepping-Stone Sea, Insular Sea, Honeycalm Sea, and Honeycalm Island. They can also be found in Max Raid battles at dens in the Workout Sea, Stepping-Stone Sea, Insular Sea, and Honeycalm Sea.
