In the Conan Exiles, Wheel of Pain is a torture devices used in capturing enemy thralls. In order to make the Wheel of Pain to work, many people believe that Gruel is needed as fuel but that is not necessarily true because in order to make Gruel, you need to level up to at least level 15 and build a cooking tool, where the Wheel of Pain unlocks at level 10. The following guide shows how to make fuel for the Wheel of Pain in the game.

Making Fuel for Wheel Of Pain Apart from Gruel:

  • In the Conan Exiles, you can unlock the Wheel of Pain at the level 10 which needs Gruel as fuel according to the crafting interface specifically showed Gruel as the fuel in the tutorial area in the top right.
  • But the Gruel needs level 15 to unlock where you need to build cooking tool to make Gruel, however, you still can make the Wheel of Pain work using different crafting items like food.
  • You can try using different food items to make the Wheel of Pain work, just drag the different food items in to the Wheel of Pain interface and notice if the on/off button is highlighted or not.
  • Once you drag the item in to the Wheel of Pain, you will notice at the bottom lower right corner the progress of the current Thrall, marked with the white bar. When Wheel of Pain is ready, you can catch a Thralls.
