Timed Finishing means you can score some great goals in FIFA 19 and if you pick up these FIFA 19 Best Finishers, you’re going to have an even better time.
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as striking a ball from 30 yards out and seeing it fly into the top corner. In FIFA 19, you’re going to have a hard time doing that unless you’ve got one of the best attackers. Don’t expect to pelt one into the net with a center back. Instead, you’re going to want one of these top 10 finishers in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team.
10. Mohamed Salah
Liverpool’s pacy Egyptian winger had an outstanding 2017/18 season, and his FIFA 19 stats reflect that. 90 finishing and 90 positioning are the cherry on top of his 92 pace. He’ll set you back over 300k though so you better get saving.
9. Mauro Icardi
Icardi may not be the fastest or have the best shooting stat overall, but his finishing is top notch at 91. Along with his 92 positioning and 84 shot power, he can bang them in from anywhere. He’s only about 35k currently too, which compared to some of the other players on this list, isn’t very expensive at all.
8. Robert Lewandowski
Bayern Munich’s Polish predator has been in top form for years. His 89 shooting stat is a combination of 91 finishing, 91 positioning, and 88 shot power so if you unleash him; he will score. He’s the ultimate choice for a Bundesliga squad, but he’ll set you back over 150k.
7. Antoine Griezmann
Griezmann has been rumored to be coming to the Premier League for years, but for now, he remains at Atletico Madrid. They won’t be complaining because his 92 finishing is the high point of his shooting stats and with 86 pace, he’s no snail either. He’ll cost about 270k though which is a lot to say he’s not even the best attacker in La Liga.
6. Gonzalo Higuain
Higuain may be relatively slow with only 73 pace, but the Argentine is 6’1″ so he’s more of a target man. He’s got 92 finishing too so if you can get the ball to him, you better believe he’s going to find the back of the net. His lack of pace means he only costs around 40k too.
5. Sergio Aguero
United fans will hesitate to snap up the man that postponed their 20th Premier League title, but with 93 finishing and 92 positioning, it’ll be a tricky decision. City’s club hero has only 84 pace, but his 89 dribbling and four-star skill moves mean he doesn’t need the extra burst of pace to send a few rockets into the corner of the net. He is over 250k though so you may want to save that for the next player instead if you’re making a Premier League team.
4. Harry Kane
England’s World Cup hero, Harry Kane is cementing himself as one of the best strikers of this generation. He’s got a 90 shooting stat which is a combination of 94 finishing, 93 positioning, and 88 shot power. He’s 6’2″ with 85 heading accuracy too, so while he’s only got 70 pace, the lowest on this list – it shouldn’t matter. Because of that, he only costs about 150k so rather than getting Aguero, get Kane and save 100k.
3. Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez UT Card • FUTBIN • Fair Use
Since leaving Liverpool, Suarez has gone from strength to strength. He’s not getting any younger, so his pace is declining, but his shooting is still one of the very best with 94 finishing and 92 positioning. Of course, he costs about 300k, though that’s much cheaper than the top two choices.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo
FIFA 19‘s cover star, Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t the best finisher in the game. He may be the best player overall, but his 94 finishing, 95 positioning, 94 shot power, and 93 long shots don’t quite make the cut for number one. He is the most expensive though, going for a cool 1.6 million coins right now.
1. Lionel Messi
If Ronaldo isn’t at the top, then Messi is bound to be, right? 95 finishing makes him one point higher than Ronaldo, along with 94 positioning and 94 long shots. His 96 dribbling means he’s going to have no problem scoring from long range, close range, medium range, and every other range. He probably won’t get too many headers though. He’s also half the price of Ronaldo, sitting at around 800k.
Notable mentions for this list go to both Ciro Immobile and Iago Aspas who have 90 finishing too but didn’t quite make the cut.
