How Expeditions work in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Spend time with your characters on Expeditions in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

Expeditions in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes are how you can increase the Support level and morale of your favorite characters. It’s a good way to spend time with your party members, and sometimes they will ask you to spend time with them through this activity. This guide will cover how Expeditions work in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and why they’re important.

How to start Expeditions

You can find a playable in your camp and speak with them to start an Expedition. Alternatively, a notification may appear after completing a battle where a party member shares they want to go on an Expedition with you. Finding them in the camp and embarking on this activity will give you and this character time to talk. There will be several locations for you to choose with the character, but you need to unlock additional areas as you progress through the game.

How Expeditions work

When you arrive at the location, you have the option to talk with the character or ask them a question. If you choose to speak with the character, they will comment, and you will have three dialogue options to reply to them. If you decide to ask a question, you can pick from six different choices of topics to explore, and the character will comment. Again, there will be three options for you to pick on how you should reply.

When you make the correct answer to the character that they want to hear, the edges of your screen will glow, and the bubble on the top-left of your screen will become blue. This shows that the character is enjoying the conversation, which was a positive experience. You will need to do this two more times for three conversation interactions in total. If you succeed in all three interactions with the character, you have the chance to observe the character, or you can give them a gift. Regardless of how well an Expedition goes, your Support points with that character go up.

We recommend going on Expeditions with characters you want to have a high Support level with. Unfortunately, you cannot use these adventures to become a romantic partner with these characters as romance options are not available. However, Expeditions cost Activity Points, so you will want to be careful and not embark on these too often as you can use your Activity Points to do other things at your camp.
