How to change language in FIFA 21

If you’re an English-speaking player of FIFA 21, you’re probably getting tired of listening to some combination of Derek Rae, Lee Dixon, and Alan McInally on commentary. Fortunately, EA Sports has included several different commentary languages that you can use to spice things up. Depending on where you live, your options will differ, but the steps to make the change are always the same. Here’s how.

It’s worth noting again that, depending on where you live, you’ll have different options available. For example, in the U.S. we only see English, French and Spanish (Latin American). You might see other options if you’re playing in a different region.

• Launch FIFA 21.
• On the main menu, scroll over to the “Customize” tab.
• Select “Settings” and then “Game Settings” once you’re presented with the sub-menu.
• Use “R2” to scroll over to the audio settings
• The first option is “Commentary Language” and you can change that to whichever language you want.

If you’d also like to turn on subtitles, you’ll need to go to the “Accessibility” menu in the “Customize” tab. There, you’ll find several accessibility options, including a toggle for subtitles.

Personally, we recommend using the Spanish (Latin American) language if you have it available. The goal calls are completely over the top, and if you’ve managed to get Ronaldinho into your Ultimate Team, the way they say his name is an absolute treat. Their commentary just hits different than those stuffy Brits.
