It’s that time of the year again for the Christmas event in Final Fantasy XIV. The Starlight Celebration brings a festive cheer to the game, with special Christmas-themed music and decorations in Limsa Lominsa, Ul’dah, and Gridania. You can also run a special quest for neat seasonal rewards. This quest is only available for a limited amount of time, so be sure to grab it before it expires.
A Festive Fiasco
You can find this year’s quest, called A Festive Fiasco, in Old Gridania near Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. A new NPC named Amh Garanjy will have the quest available for players level 15 and above. Proceed through the quest to earn your seasonal rewards.
Event Items and Rewards
This year, players can find and earn a new snowman mount, a snowy tree for their house’s yard, and a few other ice-themed furniture items.
Remember, you can only access the Starlight Event for a limited amount of time. The event runs from Monday, December 14, 2020, at 12 AM to Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 6:59 AM PT. If you missed any items from events in previous years, you can find some of them available as microtransactions via the Seasonal Shop on the Mog Station.
