The tiki statue puzzle in Chapter Two of Call of the Sea can be tricky to solve. There are many parts to this conundrum, and working out how to complete it is key to head further into the island.
You will find the puzzle when you come across the base camp area. In the main section, you will see three huts. Each one has a tiki statue outside, so interact with them, and Nora will draw them in her journal.
Next, look at each hut. They should have aquatic animal carvings on their roofs, but only one has a complete carving. Get close to each hut and look at the carvings — or where they should be — and Nora will jot down the ones that are present. She should draw the octopus etching and half of the broken manta ray one.
Walk back towards the river and take a left. You will see two more huts with a grave dividing them. Head into the right hut and walk to the back left wall. Turn around to see the shark carving on the gravestone. Look at it to draw it in your journal.
Walk back to the main area and follow the path up to the luxury huts—Head into the first one you see. You will find a turtle carving, which you can jot down, and a torn-up piece of paper with writing and symbols on it. Put the pieces in the right order, as shown below. You will see that the symbols relate to each hut’s carving and stacked in a particular way.
Turn to your left to see a rotating tiki puzzle pillar. You need to rotate each section to correlate to the order of the carvings and their corresponding tiki hut statue. To save you time, the order and tiki pillar symbols you need to rotate to are:
- Turtle – Top part. Select the option with three arrowheads pointing up
- Shark – Upper middle section. Select the scary eyes rotation
- Manta Ray – Lower middle part. Pick the mouth that has its tongue sticking out
- Octopus – Bottom section. Pick the folded arms tiki rotation
The image above is what your tiki puzzle should look like. If it does, a wall panel will open to your right. Head through it to grab the stone. Head back to the main hut area and place it in the opening on the floor to power an ancient lift.
