Pokémon Masters has over 65 Sync Pairs in the game.
At launch, Pokémon Masters has a whopping 65 Sync Pairs for players to collect and use in battle. Not all of them are going to join you the same way, and they are not all available right now.
Outside of your player character and your Pikachu, you get six characters from completing Story Missions in the game, while the other Sync Pairs come from through Scouting.
Each Scout to obtain a new Sync Pair from the Pokémon Center costs 300 Gems or 300 of the main in-game currency. There is an option to do a group Scout of 10 Sync Pairs for 3,000 Gems, or if you purchased Gems through microtransactions, you get a daily Scout for a reduced 100 Gems.
Any of these Scouts brings up a Sync Pair from whatever banner you are pulling from. If the pair is one you don’t have, it will automatically get added to your Trainer collection, and you can use that pair in your team building. If it is a repeat pair that you already pulled, then that pair get a power-up for their Sync Move, or you get a Power-Up item equal to the Sync Pair’s star level.
