How to use the bagpipes in WWE 2K Battlegrounds

An old Scottish trick... sort of.
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

In the Scotland area in WWE 2K Battlegrounds, one feature that you might notice when wrestling is the presence of a bagpiper. The bagpiper will be watching your match and playing some old Scottish tunes, but once he stops, you’ll have an opportunity to take the bagpipes and drain the opposing wrestler’s health with them. So how do you swipe those bagpipes? Let’s go over what you need to do.

Firstly, you can only utilize the bagpipes in the Scotland battleground. Make sure that you have unlocked this area if you have not done so already. Now, in order to use the bagpipes, you will need to keep an eye on the bagpiper. If the match goes on long, the piper may fall asleep. If the bagpiper does fall asleep, you will be able to interact with him and steal his bagpipes.

To do this, move towards the upper-left part of the ring area, and then hit LB (for Xbox) or L1 (for PlayStation) once you get within range to take the pipes. You will know when you are close enough to the bagpiper when you see the LB/L1 symbol appear.

Make sure to hit LB/L1 when the bagpiper is asleep.

After you grab the bagpipes, you can then play the instrument. Because the bagpipes are rather loud, the music will not soothe your opponent at all. As a matter of fact, the loud music can drain the opponent’s health bar, thus making it easier to wear down the opposition for a pinfall or submission.
