How To Use Zone Speed

Zone Speed is a strong defense against Zone shots, but the only issue is that it will eat energy when you are using it. So you can test this out only when 2/3 of your Energy Gauge is filled up.

If you spot the opponent release a Zone Shot, he can place the shot virtually anywhere on your side of the court. To defend against this shout you will have to hit R. Once you do this it will slow down the time. You can then hit the ball perfectly and return the shot. But when you hit R you will see the time you are in the Zone Speed your Energy Gauge will reduce.

So you have to be quick, you cannot stay for a long time or else your Energy Gauge will be empty. You will have to use Trick shots to refill it back. A filled up Energy Gauge is very important to stay longer in the match and use it later to return Zone Shots.

Using Zone Speed in the right time will help you to return shot and it can play a vital role between winning and losing. So you have to use it whenever needed but you will also have to work on the Energy Gauge. You can read our guide on Counter Shots, for more update on returning shots.
