This article shows how to use Joystick to Play No Man’s Sky. Get rid of Keyboard and Mouse and use Joystick instead even the game doesn’t support.
No Man’s Sky features about 18 Quintillion planets which are randomly generated mathematically with the help of special series of algorithms. For the PC players, the game doesn’t support Joystick or any controller other than console gamepads, but this article shows how to use Joystick or any USB controller in the game.
How to play with Joystick in PC
Step 1:
Download the ocaEdit Xbox 360 Controller Emulator(http://www.x360ce.com/)
Step 2:
Paste the Download .exe file in the Games Root Location
- C:\???\Steam\steamapps\common\No Man’s Sky\Binaries
Step 3:
Start the x360ce.exe as Administrator to create ‘.dll’ Files
Step 4:
Click on ‘Controller Settings’, Check the Drop menu to select NMS.exe
Step 5:
Save the File and Enjoy the Game.
Note: Configuration for the Application(If Error)
If you still have issues connecting the controller then disconnect from PC. Now rename the ‘xinput1_3.dll’ file to ‘xinput1_2.dll’. This should solve all the Issues, check our No Man’s Sky Wiki Guide to know more about the Game.
