There’s a few Pokémon that will always remain on your mobile device, no matter how badly you want to see them on the Nintendo Switch.
The Japanese Pokémon website recently revealed how you can transfer your Pokémon from the mobile game Pokémon Go to the Nintendo Switch titles, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
PokémonGoHub translated that information to help trainers prepare for the upcoming Switch games and reveal which Pokémon can’t be transferred.

Of the 150 Kanto Pokémon that are featured in the game, any Pokémon that only appears for certain events can’t be transferred.
These Pokémon include:
- Any hat Pikachu
- Any hat Raichu
- Squirtle Squad (sunglasses) Squirtle
- Squirtle Squad (sunglasses) Wartortle
- Squirtle Squad (sunglasses) Blastoise
- Mew
Any other Pokémon not listed above can be transferred to the Nintendo Switch games, however. Just remember, once a Pokémon has been transferred from your mobile game to Let’s Go, it can never return. Its stats will also reset when it’s transferred over.
