Bethesda have revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for their upcoming open world shooting game, Rage 2.

Rage 2, the upcoming first-person shooter from Avalanche Studios in conjunction with id Software, and published by Bethesda, finally has some system requirements for us to look at. The game, from available footage, looks like a strange mix of the original Rage, Doom’s shooting, Avalanches general open world madness, and splash of a more photo-realistic Borderlands.

The game takes place 30 years after the events of the original. Players will take on the role of Walker, a ranger who is going head to head with the Authority, the self-proclaimed military power of a post-apocalyptic world. We will have access to all sorts of weapons, and nanotech that gives us powers and abilities. The game will also feature open-world exploration and vehicular combat.

Rage 2 System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB or AMD R9 280 3GB
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Recommended System Requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Vega 56 8GB
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Rage 2 will be releasing on May 14, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
