What Faction Should You Join in Destiny 2?

Faction Rally returns to Destiny 2 with new looking armor and weapons for New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, and Future War Cult. But what faction should you choose?

Destiny 2 Faction Rally returns for this reset and with it new armor and weapons are awaiting those Guardians who are brave enough to earn them. Destiny 2 Faction Rally begins February 20th and ends February 27th.

For those who haven’t participated in a Faction Rally before, at the start of the event you pledge allegiance to a faction with a character. If you have three characters, you can pledge allegiance to each one if you choose to. During the event, you will earn tokens doing various missions, which you then turn in for loot.

Depending on who wins the Faction Rally, an additional reward will be yours as well. The winning faction will be able to get the additional reward for only 1,000 Glimmer, while everyone else will have to pay 50,000 Glimmer.

If you’re wondering which faction to choose from, it really depends on what the gear looks like on your Guardian. The one rule my fireteam has is “You always wear your best-looking armor in a raid.” I personally like the look of the Dead Orbit armor. Another factor may include what the rest of your fireteam chooses. Just remember that you get a nice discount on the special legendary weapon if you’re on the winning faction.
