Pokémon Sword and Shield’s The Isle of Armor has the player hunting down 150 lost Alolan Diglett that have escaped and hidden through the map. It is a painful and lengthy task to undertake. We all know we only accept the assignment to get the reward at the end. Whatever that reward is.
What happens when you collect all 150 Alolan Diglett?
The game counts the first Alolan Diglett as a collection, so there’s a total of 151, and the player has to fetch the remaining 150. Technicalities aside, there are actually several rewards for this mission. The trainer mentions early that he caught a lot of Pokémon from the Alola Region, which caused him to have over 150 missing Alolan Diglett in the first place. Turns out the Diglett aren’t the only Pokémon he caught. All of the rewards are Alolan Pokémon. So if you’re looking for a specific variation, this might be a good mission to accept and complete quickly.
The rewards are given out in intervals. First, he rewards you at five found. After 10 found, the intervals jump up by 10 each time until it reaches 50 found. At 50 found, he will reward you again at 75, and 100 found Diglett. At 100 found, he will only reward you again when you recover all 151 Diglett. This means we get a total of nine rewards from this task.
The rewards are below, in order:
- Alolan Meowth
- Slowpoke
- Alolan Vulpix
- Alolan Sandshrew
- Alolan Raichu
- Alolan Marowak
- Alolan Exeggutor
- Litten
- Alolan Diglett
Whether all of this is worth it is up to you. Some of these are worth the time, but others are likely to sit in the PC and never see the outside of their Pokéball again. But it does help fill out the Poké Dex. For eager collectors out there, this is a way to ensure you get a bunch of pages filled quickly.
