The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection was just announced last month and will come packed with three classic games. These titles include Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. On top of the games, most of the DLC costumes and game modes will be available in them as well.
The games will also feature some welcomed enhancements. According to a Microsoft Store listing, the collection will run at 4K resolution and “60fps+” on Xbox consoles. However, the listing did not mention if the game supported a max of 120fps. The Deluxe Edition will also include a digital artbook and soundtrack.
As the listing was on the Microsoft Store, there has been no confirmation on if these enhancements will also be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The collection is also making its way to the Nintendo Switch, but you can be sure that it will not reach those specs on the platform.
While the graphical enhancements are great, some online content has been cut. The tag missions in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will not be available in the collection. Online multiplayer will not be available for the ninja trials. Finally, the Shadow of the World Clan Battle in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will not be included.
