What is in the Magic The Gathering Chanda Signature Spellbox?

A new Signature Spellbox set will arrive before the end of June, and you can be sure to reach out to your local stores to see if they have it and prepare for it. To make sure you know what you’re receiving, we’ve detailed down the eight available cards inside of the deck. These are all of the cards available in the set, and each of them has a chance to be of a premium foil rarity.

Chandra, Torch of Defiance

• +1: Exile the top card of your library. You may cast that card. If you don’t, Chandra, Torch of Defiance deals 2 damage to each opponent.
• +1: Add 2 Fire mana
• -3: Chandra, Torch of Defiance deals 4 damage to target creature.
• -7: You get an emblem with “Whenever you cast a spell, this emblem deals 5 damage to any target.”

Cathartic Reunion

• As an additional cost to cast this spell, discard two cards.
• Draw three cards.

Fiery Confluence

• Choose three. You may choose the mode more than once:
  • Fiery Confluence deals 1 damage to each creature.
  • Fiery Confluence deals 2 damage to each opponent.
  • Destroy target artifact.

Past in Flames

• Each instant and sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost.
• Flashback 4 Fire Mana (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)

Pyroblast

• Choose one –
  • Counter target spell if it’s blue.
  • Destroy target permanent if it’s blue.

Pyromancer Ascension

• Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell that has the same name as a card in your graveyard, you may put a quest counter on Pyromancer Ascension.
• Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell while Pyromancer Ascension has two or more quest on it, you may copy that spell. You may choose new targets for your copy.

Rite of Flame

• Add 2 Fire Mana, then add 1 Fire Mana for each card named Rite of Flame in each graveyard.

Young Pyromancer

• Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, create a 1/1 red Elemental creature token.

These are all of the cards inside of the Chandra Signature Spellbox set. One of the eight is a premium foil version, but it’s random. The complete set arrives at your local game store on June 26, likely around $19.99.
