The shareable perks in the Shrine of Secrets on August 24 are as follows.

  • Aftercare (Jeff Johansen Shareable Perk) 2000 Iridescent Shards: You see the aura of every Survivor that you rescue from a hook or rescues you from a hook. You also see their auras if you complete a healing action on them or they complete one on you.
  • Deliverance (Adam Francis Shareable Perk) 2000 Iridescent Shards: After rescuing a Survivor from a hook, you have a 100% chance of unhooking yourself during the escape attempt. Triggers the Broken status effect for a short time after.
  • Dying Light (The Shape shareable perk) 2000 Iridescent Shards: Your obsession gains an action speed bonus to unhooking or healing other Survivors. Each time you hook a Survivor who isn’t the obsession, you’ll get a token as long as the obsession is alive. If the obsession is still alive, those who aren’t your obsession get a penalty to all actions for each token.
  • Tinkerer (The Hillbilly shareable perk) 2000 Iridescent Shards: Whenever a generator nears complete repair, it triggers a noise notification, and you are given the undetectable status for a short time. Only works once per generator.

For Survivors, it’s a no-brainer this week. Deliverance is an incredible perk that we roll with on every Survivor. It’s a guaranteed unhooking, providing you unhook at least one other Survivor. This confuses the Killer and gets you out of a sticky situation when things are dire. For Killers, it’s Dying Light that’s best this week. Punishing every other Survivor on the map while slightly boosting your obsession is a nice trade off and should allow you to score more sacrifices.

What is the Shrine of Secrets?

The Shrine of Secrets is a section of the Dead by Daylight store where four shareable perks are offered regularly. You can purchase these teachable perks with Iridescent Shards, a currency gained by playing matches in Dead by Daylight.

The costs for shareable perks are 2,000 Iridescent Shards for a Tier 1 perk, 4,000 Iridescent Shards for a Tier 2 perk, and 6,000 Iridescent Shards for a Tier 3 perk. The cost of a shareable perk will be reduced by 2,000 Iridescent Shards if you already own a previous version of it. For example, if you won the Tier 1 version, the Tier 2 version will cost 2,000 Iridescent Shards instead of 4,000. The Shrine of Secrets is updated once per week, though during special events such as the 6th Anniversary Twisted Masquerade, it can be updated more frequently. Buying teachable perks here unlocks them in Bloodwebs, so you’ll need to spend Bloodpoints in the Bloodweb with Killers and Survivors to find and use these teachable perks after unlocking them.
