An old stomping ground.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Revenge of the Cartels has just gone live in Borderlands 3, which means there is a whole lot of loot up for grabs. You can jump in right now, go and visit Maurice, and he will tell you that he got in over his head with a gang, and owes them a lot of money.

It is up to you to save his bacon, and get him out of the jam by murdering everyone because that is what friends do.

The first thing you will need to do is head to Ascension Bluff, but you might not know exactly where it is. We have you covered with the map below. Ascension Bluff is on Pandora and is one of the very first places you would have visited in the game.

Ascension Bluff

You can navigate directly to it from Sanctuary by using the Fast Travel system, and when you arrive a waypoint will show you where to go. When you get to the waypoint, there will be a lot of enemies to kill, including a powerful Cartel Operative. Wipe them out, and a few more Cartel Thugs will spawn on a beacon that the Operative drops when he dies. Wipe them out and you will get some coordinates that Maurice needs. You will need to gather up 30 of them in total, so just wander around any level, murdering enemies with neon armor.

When they die, a beacon will drop, more thugs will spawn in, and they will drop more coordinates. When you have them all, you can return to Maurice for the next part of the mission.
