Where to find the secret tape in the Hangar in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

The very first level of the content in the second game during your Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 playthrough, like all levels from the first game, will come with plenty of collectible items and goals for you to search throughout the level. Set in an enormous two-part hangar, it’s littered with plenty of things that you can use to grind and pull tricks off of. 

One such classic collectible is the secret videotape, found throughout levels in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2. As you might expect, its location here is not obvious. Thankfully, it’s not a difficult one to get to but it can take some time to get unless you know where you’re doing. 

It’s locked away in a secret area in the second part of the hangar that you will need to gain access to by going through the glass partition using the skate ramp. In here, you will see a helicopter and a gap at the end of the hanger that includes a skate rail going over a hollowed-out section between ramps. 

First, get a run-up to the helicopter and grind the length of its propeller. Once you have successfully completed it, the hollowed area will have opened up to a secret area that you can now access. Head towards it and push forward at the close ramp to get into the area, and here is where you will find the secret tape to add to your collection at the top of the ramp in the cold weather.
