Where to get the Golden Beaver minion in Final Fantasy XIV

Get your Golden Beaver minion.

Beavers hold a special place in Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, being linked to the mischievous Pixies in Il Mheg. The Golden Beaver looks just like those regular beavers, but, well, golden. Fittingly, players can find this minion as a reward through treasure hunting. Or, you can skip the treasure hunting and acquire the minion in more direct ways instead.

Take a few of your level 80 friends treasure hunting with Zonureskin treasure maps. If you’re lucky enough to land in The Shifting Oubliettes of Lyhe Ghiah, go ahead and clear the dungeon for your treasure. Hopefully, the Golden Beaver minion item will drop for you. If it does, use the item itself and you’ll be able to summon your golden little beaver. If it doesn’t drop, keep spamming those treasure maps until you get your prize. Of course, if you’re not up for that, you can always take the quicker option.

Buy the Golden Beaver minion on the market board

Players with deep pockets can simply purchase the minion upfront. Though if you don’t quite have the gil right now, keep farming treasure maps anyway. You could get other expensive loot instead, selling those for profit. That way, you can save up to buy the minion once your patience for treasure hunting runs out. This golden little beaver is pretty popular, but you can get your hands on it if you work hard enough.
