It would appear that Dr. Disrespect has been banned, once again, from Twitch. The Twitter account Streamer Bans sent out a tweet advising that the Two Time had been banned once more, and if you go and visit his Twitch channel, you will find a message that aptly reads, “Sorry. Unless you’ve got a time machine, that content is unavailable.”
Why was Dr. Disrespect banned from Twitter?
At the moment, nobody actually knows. Dr. Disrespect has yet to say anything regarding the ban on his Twitter account, and Twitch has not made any statements either. According to Rod “Slasher” Breslau, who does tend to know interesting bits of information in the gaming industry, the ban is permanent. Once again, there is no confirmation of this from either Twitch or Dr. Disrespect himself.
After Polygon reached out to Twitch for comment, an unnamed representative informed the site that they “take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” Twitch did not offer any information on the reason for the ban, or the duration.
Was Dr. Disrespect banned from Twitch before?
Yes, the Doc was banned in 2019 after an incident happened at E3. While livestreaming from the event, Doc and his camera crew decided to film from the bathrooms. This did not go down well with viewers, attendees, or event organizers, and all involved were removed from the event. Beahm was then banned from Twitch for two weeks. The streamer later apologized, saying they got caught up in the moment and simply didn’t think about the consequences of what they were doing.
