A new leak on GameStop confirms that this year’s Call of Duty is going to be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The retailer updated their website with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 merchandising.
We’ve already posted rumors about Call of Duty 2018 actually being a fourth chapter in the Black Ops series i.e. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, but this time around we have yet another pretty convincing proof regarding the next Treyarch game.
Call of Duty specialist Charlie Intel has indeed received and published a few photos coming from the internal GameStop listings, which offer some clear references to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 merchandising.
While it is quite curious GameStop already has hinted at these products, this would not be the first time the retailer gets informed so much ahead of the official reveal by its longtime partner publisher Activision.
In case you’re interested, listed merchandising features a series of t-shirt inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which again is supposedly meant to be the 2018 COD game by developer Treyarch.
At this point, we don’t have any particular information about what Black Ops 4 could be like, but a previous rumor hinted at it being “boots on the ground” same as WWII despite still having a modern times setting.
Call of Duty: WWII has just received the Resistance DLC and will likely get another one before the next game is announced, probably around May if the Call of Duty tradition is respected.
