Hot off the pre-E3 leak train, we have our first look at what might be the future of the Assassin’s Creed series, thanks to a simple image of some typical goodie bag swag.

French gaming website Jeux Video posted an article featuring this image of a keychain, with the packaging emblazoned with a logo that reads Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, along with the series logo with a Spartan helmet underneath. The keychain itself is that of a traditional Spartan war helmet, leading us to believe the next game will take place in ancient Greece.

Jeux Video’s report says that the image comes from a reliable source and that the game will be a sequel to Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which took place in ancient Egypt. It will be interesting to see what kind of ancient Greek figures make an appearance in the game, a feature that is always exciting in any of the series’ titles.

The news of a new entry in Ubisoft’s long-running franchise shouldn’t come as a surprise, but it does kind of take some of the steam out of the company’s E3 press conference, where the game will undoubtedly be officially revealed. That is, unless this is somehow an elaborate fake.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey would be the 11th main title in the series, which has also spawned a number of handheld games and spinoffs. It even had its own less-than-stellar Hollywood movie a few years ago, as well.

We will likely learn more at Ubisoft’s E3 conference on Monday, June 11 at 3pm CT.

Update: May 31, 2018, 7:10pm CT: Ubisoft has confirmed the game on Twitter, promising more at E3.
