Following the nine-minute announcement trailer that went up, Blizzard went ahead and showed off some new gameplay footage for Diablo IV, which will make its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

We then get a look at some of the characters. In the game. First up is the mage, who utilizes fire and lightning attacks to take down enemies. Then there’s the barbarian, who uses brute strength with his club. And, finally, there’s the druid, capable of transforming into a wolf and bear, along with utilizing his own human abilities.

We talked about these characters briefly in a previous leak, but this first footage confirms that they’re real, and all packing a ridiculous punch when it comes to taking down vicious enemies.

For instance, the mage can summon a lighting attack that sends her flying across the screen like a bolt. The druid can supercharge himself to light up the ground and take out the enemies around him. And, of course, the barbarian can smash into enemies and turn them into bloody puddles.

The company also confirmed that the game is fully playable on the show floor via a demo. No word yet on how long the wait will be…but it’ll be worth it.

Check out the first look at the gameplay below, and look for more information on Diablo IV as BlizzCon continues.
