Two more cards have been revealed from Hearthstone’s next expansion.

Cards are coming in at all times of the day now, with community figures around the world being given cards to show off by Blizzard.

Star Aligner is a neutral seven mana 7/7. If you have three minions on board with seven health, it will deal seven damage to all enemies when played. This is the true successor to Dr Seven.

It’s flavor might be cool, but it seems hard to pull off—there aren’t a ton of seven health minions in the game, and most decks don’t run more than one or two. To have three minions on board at the same time is pretty unlikely, and if you get it you’ve probably won anyway.

Blightnozzle Crawler is a four mana 2/4 Rogue minion. When it dies, it summons a 1/1 Ooze with Poisonous and Rush.

Unlike Star Aligner, this card definitely has some possibilities. If you can trade this minion off on your turn, you effectively get a free removal spell to kill off a minion on your opponent’s side of the board. Whether this is playable in a Rogue deck is another matter, right now it probably doesn’t fit. But if it’s strong enough, or the class gets more cards pushing it in a different direction, this is a card players would like to play.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
