Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Multiplayer Reveal
Infinity Ward tweeted out yesterday that at 10 am PST today, LEGIQN, ProSyndicate, TeePee, and CourRageJD will be streaming, “A new, fast-paced, 2 v 2 multiplayer mode,” called Gunfight. There are no details as to what this game mode actual entails, but it’s safe to assume it involves a gun of some kind, perhaps more, and fighting.
This will be the first multiplayer gameplay footage shown of the newest Call Of Duty, which is out of character for the series. Aside from a quick cut reveal trailer and a few screenshots, we’ve seen nothing of the game. It was noticeably absent (publically) at E3, only offering behind-closed-doors sessions to press and a 20+ minute onstage interview at the Coliseum with Geoff Keighley.
After all the talk of Modern Warfare’s new “visceral” direction, interest in the series hasn’t been this high for a while. Call Of Duty releases October 25th on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
Links to each of the streamers can be found above, so pick your poison.
We’re excited to announce that @LEGIQN, @ProSyndicate, @TylerTeeP, and @CouRageJD will be streaming live from the studio to debut Gunfight, a new, fast-paced, 2v2 multiplayer mode in #ModernWarfare! Tune in tomorrow at 10am PST!
