A new feature is set to replace the traditional team-based game mode in Clash Royale.
Clan Wars are now live in Clash Royale, Supercell announced earlier today. The new game mode will allow Clash Royale players to battle against other Clans from across the globe.
Clan Wars will take place over a two-day period, and all players must be at least King Level eight in order to participate.
On the first day, Collection Day, players get three battles to try to earn as many Clan Cards as possible—this will be important to help your Clan strengthen its deck as much as possible. On day two, War Day, each player only gets one battle using the cards from Collection Day—and the Clan with the most victories wins the war.
Clan War participants will be rewarded with a War Chest—which is essentially replacing the previous Clan Chest. Clan Trophies will also be awarded based on your team’s performance in the war.
In addition to the Clan War update, Supercell revealed that another new card is coming to Clash Royale in May. Clash Royale players are trying to figure out what this upcoming card could be based on the hint provided, which says, “watch your step when walking in the woods near Royal Arena…”

The latest balance update also went live in Clash Royale yesterday, which saw a number of cards receives game-changing nerfs and buffs. It’s safe to say there’s a lot to be excited about in Clash Royale right now—and if you haven’t already, you should definitely test the new Clan Wars mode.
