Dark Souls fans can finally take all their stress and frustration on the go. Dark Souls: Remastered is heading to Nintendo Switch this fall. Bandai Namco broke the news today, confirming its debut on the handheld console will be a few weeks before Halloween this year.
Previously, the Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered was meant to release alongside with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC editions. Unfortunately, this didn’t come to pass as the game was delayed to a tentative summer release date. A launch window it failed to meet, like so many failed bell gargoyle battles.
There’s more good news, though. The hotly-anticipated Solaire of Astora amiibo will be coming out the same day as the Switch version of the game. You’ll be able to “Praise the Sun” all you want to with the amiibo with the jubilant figurine. It appears to have already sold out at GameStop, at least for online purchases.
The Switch remaster is one of the best ways to experience the infamously challenging game. As Bandai Namco’s official tweet states, there will be an online network test upcoming ahead of the game’s official release. You can look forward to trying Dark Souls: Remastered on Nintendo Switch as of Oct. 19.
