Bungie unveils some changes to the Destiny 2 Roadmap, delaying some features for future updates. Some changes won’t be seen until Season 3 of Destiny 2.

Last month, Bungie unveiled its plans for Destiny 2, covering Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3. A few things have changed since then, and you can find the changes below.

One feature everyone was looking forward to was Nightfall Strike Unique Rewards, as one of the game’s most difficult modes doesn’t properly reward you. We will have to wait just a little bit longer, as the developers want to make sure that those rewards live up to the difficulty it takes to obtain them.

Mod system improvements have also been pushed back until update 1.2.0, which is the beginning of Season 3 and new content. More information on that will come later.

Crucible will be getting a big addition, as Rumble will be joining the six versus six Iron Banner and Mayhem in the weekly Crucible rotation list in the 1.2.0 update.

One of the biggest changes myself and many others were looking forward, was the Exotic Repetition Reduction. Nothing is worse than getting the same exotic multiple times, only to dismantle it. If pushing it back means more time to make sure it works, I’m all for it. One must ask why this feature wasn’t already in place as it was something they implemented in the first Destiny.

Another new feature I am looking forward to is called Multi-Emote. This will make it easier to combine different dance moves and taunts together, all the while letting me carry all of my favorite emotes instead of having them collect dust in my vault.

While some of the features have been pushed further down the line, I think it shows that Bungie is making sure that the new features will work right out of the gate, instead of constantly having to hotfix something.
