New reveal trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken shows the fate of one of our favorite Guardians as Prince Uldren makes a surprise return. Destiny 2: Forsaken will be available on September 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

As you can see, Cayde-6 has seen better days as parts of him are missing and he’s a little rough around the edges. As the camera pans around we see Cayde’s ghost and a familiar face hiding under the hood.
Prince Uldren has Cayde-6 beaten and surrounded by the new Fallen Barons that have escaped or have they been set free by the Prince. Uldren was last searching for the Queen on Mars and hasn’t been heard from in awhile. The Destiny 2 subreddit has long been speculating about his intentions and it seems like they are not of the good kind.
The new trailer continues to stun the viewer as Uldren pulls the trigger, first on Cayde’s ghost, then on Cayde-6 himself. Of course, Cayde-6 is an exo and has been rebooted six times already. Whether or not there will be a seventh will remain to be seen. It would seem likely that us Guardians will be asked to hunt down the Barons and make Prince Uldren pay for what he did.
